Introducing the Saber Offroad Ezy-Glide Recovery Ring, a heavy-duty yet compact alternative to snatch blocks that prioritises size and weight in recovery kits. Weighing less than 1kg (2.2lbs) and boasting a total diameter of only 143mm, with an internal diameter of 96mm, this remarkable ring is nearly a quarter of the weight of similarly rated snatch blocks. For optimal performance, Saber recommends pairing the ring with either their Bound Soft Shackle or Sheath Soft Shackle, both extensively tested to minimize the frictional load.
The Ezy-Glide Recovery Ring is not the smallest on the market intentionally. Through meticulous consultation with winch rope fiber manufacturers, Saber has developed a ring specifically designed to reduce wear and fatigue on ropes used in conjunction with it. This consideration ensures the longevity and integrity of your winch rope.
It is crucial to note that the Ezy-Glide Recovery Ring should ONLY be used with soft shackles and synthetic winch ropes.

Engineered to Maximize Capacity & Minimize Rope Wear - The Ezy-Glide Recovery ring's design goes beyond functionality, focusing on weight reduction, compactness, and rope protection. Saber understands that tight bends in loaded ropes can weaken and damage them, potentially leading to premature failure. In consultation with winch line fiber manufacturers, Saber adopted an 8:1 ratio for the internal channel diameter. With an internal channel of 96mm (outer 143mm), the product is ideal for winch ropes up to 12mm (1/2″) in diameter. Few rings on the market can accommodate synthetic winch ropes of 10mm or above with such precision. The channel profile of this ring is specifically crafted to provide optimal support for the rope and minimize fiber flattening under load.
