Introducing the groundbreaking splice-on synthetic rope shackle mounting thimble equipped with rope protection and an integrated rubber pad—the first of its kind globally.

The intricately machined rope passage establishes a robust outer barrier, safeguarding against rope impact, abrasion, and providing UV exposure protection. Designed to be compatible with synthetic ropes up to 1/2″ in diameter.

Important Note: Unlike the Factor 55 ProLink and Flatlink shackle mount products, The Splicer necessitates knowledge of synthetic rope splicing. We recommend the use of either the locking Brummel Splice or Long Bury Splice. Numerous video tutorials on rope splicing are readily available on the internet.

• WLL (Working Load Limit): The splice-on design determines the Working Load Limit (WLL) based on the rope diameter utilized. Each Splice-On Shackle Mount surpasses minimum bend radius requirements, ensuring it delivers the full breaking strengths of synthetic winch lines.
• Upgrade your winching setup by replacing traditional winch hooks with a more secure shackle/D-ring option. This pioneering splice-on winch rope thimble comes with impact and UV protection, featuring a uniquely machined rope path for comprehensive rope safeguarding.
• Facilitate safer recoveries through Closed System Winching using its lightweight, precision CNC machined 6000 series Military Grade Aluminum construction. Specifically crafted for synthetic winch rope, it includes an integrated EPDM rubber pad for fairlead protection.
• Effortlessly connect to both the pin and bow end of common ¾” screw pin shackles, as well as the pin ends of 7/8” and 1” screw pin shackles. Suitable for synthetic winch rope diameters up to ½”, it is available in Military Spec Hard Anodizing (Mil-A-8625 F Type III) and powder coated finishes.
