Aramid fibre is used to manufacture heat and abrasion-resistant fabrics known as the Fortamid range. These fabrics are used for protective suits and protect against conductive and radiant heat.
Aramid offers excellent abrasion and flame resistance and will not melt under normal handling of your Braai equipment.

Perfect for braaing, cooking, baking and handling hot items outdoors.

These gloves are NOT for moving coals or picking up equipment that is covered with coals OR items that are covered with flames. It is used for general surfaces such as handles or Braai/BBQ frames that are too hot to handle with bare hands.
